About Chess Mail

Chess Mail was a much-praised magazine, based in Ireland. It ran through nine volumes from August 1996 to January 2006, edited by ICCF Senior International Master Tim Harding, the well-known chess author.

Although we ceased publication because Tim was involved in historical research leading to his PhD, we maintained the website in order to present some of the best of our former articles and some off-cuts from Tim's research.

We have now decided to cease trading and wind up our company after the closing down sale which has just ended. This website will continue in some form as Tim Harding's private website but it will not be selling anything.
