Congratulations to Jan Helbich (Slovakia) who has just won the Chess Mail ICCF webserver inaugural tournament, whose preliminaries began in 2004. There is still one open game but his score of 8/11 cannot be caught.

I would like to thank you for the possibilkity to play in your tournament. In the beginning of the preliminary round I had no rating, and during the years I am now SM with 2543 and I managed to win the final round. It was also you who brought me back to chess...
There is also still one unfinished game in the BCCA-100 GM tournament, sponsored by us.
The winner is GM Robin Smith (USA) 11/14 with Klaus Kögler (GER) second, but the remaining game could affect a share of third prize.
